Patagonia grew out of a small company that made tools for climbers. Alpinism remains at the heart of a worldwide business that still makes clothes for climbing – as well as for skiing and snowboarding, surfing, fly fishing and endurance athletics.
For us a love for the wild and beautiful places we play in also demands participation in the fight to save them. We give moral support and a lot of money - over 22 million to date – to hundreds of grassroots groups in the U.S., Europe and Japan who are working to help reverse the tide of environmental degradation.
